Abstract

<jats:p>This study explores the integration of new technologies in applied and decorative arts within the framework of Ishenaly Arabaev’s pedagogical heritage. Arabaev’s educational philosophy, emphasizing national creativity, manual skills, and moral development, remains relevant in modern digital education. The main goal of the research is to identify effective methods of developing students’ creativity in primary school through the combination of traditional crafts and innovative technologies. The paper examines the use of Augmented Reality (AR), 3D modeling, and digital portfolios in art and craft lessons, analyzing their pedagogical potential and learning outcomes. The findings show that incorporating digital tools into applied art education enhances students’ aesthetic awareness, engagement, and appreciation for cultural heritage. The study concludes that integrating Arabaev’s pedagogical principles with modern technologies can form a solid foundation for innovation in education while preserving national identity and traditional artistic values.</jats:p>
