Abstract
<jats:p>The article examines the role and significance of digital technologies in the formation of reading independence among primary school students. In modern education, special attention is paid to the digitalization of learning. Thus, there are many opportunities to achieve the best results and success through the proper use of digital technologies in education and upbringing of children. To develop independent reading skills in primary school students, platforms such as “BilimLand”, “Kundelik”, “Google Classroom”, “Birge okuybuz”, and others allow students to independently complete reading tasks and answer questions. At the same time, platforms such as “Wordwall”, “Kahoot”, and “Quizizz” are effectively used to develop students’ vocabulary and thinking skills through digital games. Here, children can learn new words and concepts with interest and independence. 2025, №4/3 424 Thanks to the Internet resources, students acquire the skills of searching for information on any topic, creating small presentations and creating videos. This develops their thinking, worldview and independence.</jats:p>
