The article views spiritual security as a state of protection of the spiritual sphere of the individual, society, and the state from negative influences that lead to the loss of cultural heritage, traditional values, and the distortion of historical memory. A complex of internal and external threats 2025, №4/3 124 is highlighted, including: socio-economic problems (poverty, unemployment, migration), which create a "spiritual vacuum" and push young people to search for alternative, including extremist, ideologies; religious extremism and radicalization, exacerbated by a low level of knowledge about traditional Islam and social injustice; and the crisis of values caused by globalization and digitalization, including the dominance of consumer culture, the spread of destructive content, and cyberbullying. Special attention is paid to the necessity of a systemic approach to overcoming the consequences of the value crisis following the collapse of the USSR. The article emphasizes that ensuring spiritual security is a cross-cutting task for all branches of government and institutions, requiring the development of effective state strategies and programs. Specific measures are proposed for patriotic education, the preservation of national traditions, and the creation of socio-economic conditions for the constructive development of youth.
