Abstract

The article discusses the possibilities of developing elements of research skills in junior schoolchildren in mathematics lessons. Analyzes of different approaches to the role of mathematical training of students in the formation of human research skills are given. The types of inductive path of concept formation are clarified. A comparative analysis of the characteristics cognitive interest and research skills was carried out in order to identify methodological conditions under which research activities will contribute to the development of cognitive interest in primary schoolchildren. Develop a research plan, determine ways to solve the problem, and a plan for further action. This stage is often the most difficult for schoolchildren: they see and understand what they need to do.But they almost never know how to achieve this. The presence of a problem implies the emergence of a hypothesis or even several hypotheses for its solution. Therefore there may be several solutions. Most often, the teacher takes on the hypothesis. It is important to awaken in children the desire to search for and solve fairly complex problems, to create conditions for the development of research skills as the most important general educational skills. Conclusions were drawn about the need to develop special educational tasks and methodological recommendations for them, focused on resolving contradictions and aimed at improving the learning process.
