Abstract

<jats:p>The article deals with the problems of mastering the articulatory features of sounds and several methods of teaching ө, ү, ң when teaching the kyrgyz language at the level A1 and A2. One of the main problems in teaching the state language as a native and second language (foreign language) is paid attention to articulation training exercises in order to correctly pronounce the distinctive sounds of this language, which is the most important condition for correct speech. Particular attention is paid to phonetic exercises, types of speech activity (listening, writing, speaking, reading) are taken into account when mastering the sounds ө, ү, ң, exercises are offered for each skill. The exercises were selected in order to acquire the communicative or communicative competence of students in the level-systemic teaching of the kyrgyz language, that is, we focused on a selection of some teaching methods, taking into account lexical, grammatical, semantic and phonological competencies in teaching the sounds ө, ү, ң.</jats:p>
