<jats:p>The monograph examines the phenomena and processes that began to actively manifest themselves in the Ukrainian literary language from the late 80s to the early 90s of the last century, continuing with various modifications to the present day, as a consequence of the country's transition to a new type of socio-political and economic relations and the acquisition (restoration) of Ukraine's independence, the proclamation of the Ukrainian language as an official state language, and the increased attention of society to its language.</jats:p>
