Abstract
Agricultural land-use system’s economic component is a key prerequisite for improving land-use efficiency, ensuring sustainable agricultural development, and strengthening state land policy. The relevance of the study is determined by the insufficient theoretical and methodological substantiation of the economic component of the agricultural land-use system and the lack of a comprehensive approach to defining its structural elements, functions, and economic mechanisms under the transformation of land relations. The study aims to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing the economic component of the agricultural land-use system by identifying its structural elements, economic instruments, and priority development directions. The research hypothesis assumes that improving agricultural land-use efficiency requires an integrated combination of economic instruments, institutional mechanisms, and state regulation. The methodological framework is based on a systems approach and includes methods of analysis, synthesis, scientific generalization, comparison, economic and statistical analysis, graphical analysis, and legal analysis. The analytical basis comprises scientific publications, the current legislative framework of Ukraine, and official statistical data on agricultural production and cultivated areas. The findings systematize the structural elements of the economic component of the agricultural land-use system, identify its principal functions, and substantiate priority directions for improving state regulation, land taxation, pricing mechanisms, land valuation, and economic incentives for rational land use. The scientific contribution of the study lies in the systematization of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the economic component of the agricultural land-use system and in clarifying its structural characteristics and functional role in improving land-use efficiency. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of applying the proposed approaches to improve land management mechanisms, support the development of agricultural policy, and enhance the efficiency of agricultural land use at both regional and national levels.
