Abstract
<jats:p>The article explores the priorities for the development of agricultural enterprises in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of the Agro-Industrial and Fisheries Complex of the Russian Federation. It highlights the set of factors that influence the functioning of agricultural enterprises and shape their levels of development. The article provides a detailed review of scientific research on the characteristics of infrastructure and other factors that affect the level of development of agricultural enterprises. Based on the scientific consensus, the article proposes a set of indicators necessary for assessing the level of development of agricultural enterprises and presents a matrix for selecting priority measures for the development of agricultural enterprises.</jats:p>
