Abstract
<jats:p>The paper concentrates on the examination of gender matters within the teachings of Christian fellowships. The aim of the document is a theological examination of sex/gender matters within the belief system of Christian sects in the historical and present socio-cultural setting. The phrase «gender» is observed as an analytic element in contemporary theological research. The conditions for the development of gender perspectives are explored. The impact of denominational gender views upon the perception of adherents is analyzed. A comparative contrast of facets of gender dialogue in Orthodoxy, Catholicism, and Protestantism is performed.</jats:p>
