Analysis of regulatory, technical and guidance documents on the assessment of the environmental safety of Navy ships

<jats:p>The object of this study is the regulatory framework for ensuring the environmental safety of Navy ships, as well as trends in ensuring environmental safety in the countries of the likely enemy. The purpose of the study is to identify the problems of legal regulation of environmental safety in the design, construction and operation of Navy ships based on the analysis of current legislation and to develop proposals that contribute to the creation of a methodology for a comprehensive assessment of environmental safety. The methodological basis of the research was general scientific methods (specifically historical, sociological, statistical, etc.) and special legal techniques and methods (comparative jurisprudence, technical and legal analysis, interpretation, etc.).</jats:p>
