Abstract
<jats:p>The publication presents contemporary approaches to organizing the educational process in Ukrainian language and reading lessons in primary school. It examines the psychological, pedagogical, and methodological foundations for developing listening comprehension, reading skills, and written communication skills of students in Grades 1–4. The methodological guide is intended for primary school teachers, methodologists, curriculum developers, and all those committed to ensuring high-quality instruction in Ukrainian language and reading in the context of current educational challenges.</jats:p>
