Abstract
<jats:p>The preprint (analytical materials) Integration processes in the area of education in the European Union: strategic priorities, essential characteristics and innovative practices: was developed by the team of the Department of Comparative Education of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine based on the results of the first stage of the research ‘Integration processes in the world, European and national systems of general secondary education’ (2024-2025). The authors have substantiated the essence of the phenomenon of integration, outline the EU's strategic priorities for cooperation in the area of education and training, reveal the progress of integration processes, and describe innovative practices of integration in the European Education Area at the level of general secondary education.</jats:p>
