Abstract

<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to the results of a dissertation study on the problem of gender education of older preschool children in the context of preschool institutions. The chapters of the monograph reveal the scientific and methodological foundations of gender education of older preschool children; the formation of teachers’ gender competence; organizational and pedagogical conditions for gender education of older preschool children; a three-subject methodology of gender education of older preschool children; the content, forms, and methods of work on gender education of older preschool children; and forms of interaction with educators and parents within preschool institutions. The innovativeness and originality of the scientific and methodological contribution lie in the development of a practical component that includes technological and methodological tools ensuring the effective implementation of the tasks of gender education of older preschool children. The monograph may be useful for preschool educators, researchers, students, and parents.</jats:p>
