Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of innovative directions of energy conservation in healthcare facilities. Modern technological solutions are considered, including the implementation of LED lighting, heat pumps, heat recovery systems, solar photovoltaic panels, and intelligent building management systems (BMS). An economic-mathematical model for determining savings from the implementation of a comprehensive set of energy conservation measures is proposed, which allows for the evaluation of net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and investment payback period. Based on the modelling, it is demonstrated that the comprehensive implementation of innovative energy conservation measures ensures a reduction in facility energy consumption by 28–40% with an investment payback period of 3.5–5.5 years.
