Abstract

The article examines the problems of information and analytical support for managerial decision-making in business entities under the conditions of digital transformation of the economy and increasing economic instability. It is substantiated that the effectiveness of business management directly depends on the quality, completeness, timeliness, and integration of information resources used in the decision-making process. The main stages of forming information and analytical support for management are identified, namely: collection of economic information, data storage and processing, analytical processing, reporting, and managerial decision-making. The study systematizes the key problems arising at each stage of information and analytical support, including fragmentation of information flows, lack of a unified information space within enterprises, low data quality and reliability, insufficient automation of analytical processes, shortage of qualified personnel, and weak integration between functional information systems. It is argued that the use of information systems mainly as accounting tools rather than as instruments for analytics and forecasting significantly limits the possibilities of strategic business management. An approach to forming an integrated complex of information systems for a manufacturing enterprise is proposed, with an ERP system as its core, complemented by accounting, financial, production, marketing, logistics, and analytical modules. It is proven that the implementation of such a комплекс ensures the creation of a unified information space, improves the quality and timeliness of analytical information, reduces managerial risks, and facilitates the transition to data-driven management. It is concluded that improving information and analytical support is a necessary condition for enhancing competitiveness, financial sustainability, and adaptability of enterprises in modern business environments.
