Abstract
The article highlights the results of developing the structure and content of the academic discipline «Applied Programs Packages» for Bachelors of Vocational Education in the «Transport». Based on an analysis of the prerequisites regarding increased employer requirements for transport industry workers' proficiency in modern digital tools for vehicle maintenance and repair, the study substantiates the necessity for future vocational education teachers to master specialized software. A retrospective analysis of the transformation of the «applied software packages» concept was conducted, justifying its differentiation into new definitions such as «ecosystems», «platforms», and «services». Common groups of applied programs packages are presented based on various classification criteria, and specific types of programs for the car maintenance and repair sector are characterized. Based on the performed analysis, an original course structure is proposed, consisting of three modules. It integrates knowledge of traditional office suites in professional activities, specialized programs for car services (diagnostics, maintenance, repair), and applied programs used in education. The first, propaedeutic module includes tools for working with texts, spreadsheets, and presentations within the context of professional activity, as well as topics on digital environment safety rules. The second module introduces students to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) systems for reading and modifying car design drawings; it develops skills in the effective use of internet services for information retrieval and processing, modern software for car diagnostics and maintenance, automotive enterprise management systems, and customer services (CRM, electronic document management, online booking services, etc.). The third module focuses on software products and services for educational activities, modern distance learning platforms and electronic educational resources, specifically the ELECTUDE online platform for the professional training of transport industry specialists.
