Socio-cultural approach in the preparation of Masters of education in the field of life safety: theory and practice

<jats:p>The chapter presents the researchers' approaches to defining the category of the sociocultural approach to the implementation of master's education in the field of life safety. The trends influencing the development of master's education in the following areas are considered: integration, intensification, and level-based approach. The principles contributing to the implementation of the sociocultural approach (problematization, contextualization, dialogicality, design of cultural practices, and reflexivity) are identified. The chapter presents a substantive description of the modules for training masters of education in the field of life safety («Methodology of Research in Education», «Methodology of Education in the Field of Life Safety», «Modern Problems of Education in the Field of Life Safety»).</jats:p>
