Abstract

<jats:p>The main purpose of this study is to describe the concept of an automated assessment of the optimal energy intensity of a raw material region using automated software and analytical tools. A meaningful formulation of the problem of determining the energy intensity of the gross regional product and the application of a set of programs for numerical analysis of an optimization mathematical model are considered. The article describes the features and interprets the object of research – the energy intensity of the gross regional product for the region of the raw material type, as well as the principles of dynamism, optimizability and multi-criteria used in modeling and supporting managerial decision-making. An algorithm is proposed for assessing the impact of energy-intensive economic activities in the region on the growth of energy intensity through the influence of their characteristics on the gross regional product. To illustrate the application of the software and analytical complex, computational experiments were conducted related to the calculation of the gross regional product based on official statistics of the Kemerovo region-Kuzbass by type of economic activity for 2021. The influence on the energy intensity of the gross regional product of some scenarios of regional development, considering different configurations (sets) of energy-intensive economic activities in the region, is considered, and the proportions of the influence of these configurations are obtained.</jats:p>
