Analysis of economic and legal support for the economic security of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region

<jats:p>The chapter provides a comprehensive analysis of the state and development trends of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Mari El in the context of ensuring the region's economic security. Systemic risks threatening economic security are identified: limited access to financial resources, administrative barriers, outmigration of skilled personnel, and the high budget dependency of the republic.</jats:p>
