<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title>
<jats:p>This article explains the selection of composite manufacturing processes. It concentrates on design for manufacturing of polymeric composites. The article describes two aspects of manufacturing that interact with the design: the handling qualities of the raw materials, and the characteristics of the mold. It provides an overview on forming processes, post-processing and fabrication, and repair of composites.</jats:p>
