Abstract

<jats:p>The books attempts to describe the needs, beliefs, motivations, fears and aspirations of homeless women taking care of their children in order to understand better the choices they have to make in the area of their own motherhood, raising children, partnerships and family relationships, as well as dealing with the financial sphere of life. A rich analysis of the experiences of the study participants became the basis for specifying psychological factors that contribute to the long-term persistence of financial difficulties and their numerous consequences, as well as for creating practical recommendations to help this particular social group.</jats:p>
