<jats:p>This work is a second volume of a new edition of the series “Czytam po polsku” [I read in Polish]. It is addressed primarily to the foreigners specializing in Slavic and Polish studies, but it can also be used by anyone learning Polish language and culture, for example students at Polish schools abroad. Some parts of the publication can also be interesting for Polish students who learn about Polish Romantic literature and are particularly keen on it. The main aim of the volume is to present Polish dramas of the Romantic Era as representative texts of Polish culture. This publication can also be regarded as a didactic aid supporting linguistic and cultural education.</jats:p>
