Working memory, motor speed, and visual search are central in process-level networks in breast cancer survivors with cognitive difficulties

<p>Cancer survivors without central nervous system involvement can have impairment in several cognitive functions, especially following systemic therapies. Yet interactions among these functions remain unclear. We examined these interactions using network analysis of neuropsychological data in 181 breast cancer survivors with self-reported and tested cognitive problems post-chemotherapy. Working memory, motor speed, and visual search emerged as central hubs within the network. These findings suggest these central processes may drive broader cognitive dysfunction, highlighting the value of process-level network approaches.</p>
