Abstract
<jats:p>This commemorative volume, issued on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Volodymyr Vasyliovych Yurchyshyn, presents a comprehensive overview of the academic legacy of this eminent Ukrainian scholar in the field of agrarian science, a distinguished administrator, and a visionary organizer of agricultural production. As an Academician of the NAAS of Ukraine, Yurchyshyn was a pioneer of socio-economic transformations and a theo- retical architect of future agrarian reforms in independent Ukraine. The publication details the key research directions and scientific principles that guided his work, and highlights his substantial contribution to the development and reform of agrarian policy in Ukraine. It also examines his major accomplishments in scientific research and academic teaching, as well as the principal stages of his professional and personal life. This work is intended for researchers, educators, and a broad audience with an interest in the history and contemporary state of agrarian economic science, and the development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector.</jats:p>
