Abstract

An increase in absolute deformation and compliance of carbon, glass, and organoplastic samples on epoxy binder when loaded under conditions microwave heating by 360-380%, 320-336% and 340-318%, respectively. The obtained results confirm the fact of a temporary transition of the thermosetting binder as part of a cured polymer composite material (PCM) to a state of plasticity, which allows for configurational changes in the structure to occur, contributing to an improvement in the physical and mechanical properties.
