Abstract

The research aims to develop a comprehensive approach to the preservation and actualization of Yakut ornament based on an analysis of its historical and cultural evolution and the application of digital and AI tools. The article examines the results of the Jeweler.AI project, implemented by the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts, the National Library of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and the Institute for Humanities Research and Indigenous Studies of the North, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The project represents an intelligent platform that combines the functions of an educational assistant and a generative design system, intended to accelerate jewelry creation and integrate traditional ornament into modern production processes. The paper details the structure of the digital archive of Yakut ornament and its significance for the study of cultural symbols, motifs, and visual semiotics. The scientific novelty lies in the application of generative AI models to the analysis and reconstruction of traditional art elements, offering new approaches to the systematization of ornamental forms and the prevention of the loss of intangible cultural heritage. The results demonstrate the potential of combining humanities knowledge with AI technologies for the development of modern creative industries and the preservation of the cultural code of the Sakha people.
