Abstract
<jats:p>Introduction. Since the end of the 20th century the ecological problems became global and the solving of these problems is impossible for the single country and needs the participation of the different nations and countries of the world. And so far as the international ecologically oriented decisions have to be correct and well grounded we must pay great attention to international ecologically oriented decisions’ making and to their support and grounds. Purpose. The purpose of this article is to investigate the cooperation of the international subjects of ecological management, to discover their forms of cooperation and the types of results of these communication and cooperation. That’s to study the main forms of international ecologically oriented decisions and their information, statistical and analytical support. Methods. The results of the research base on the methods of analysis and synthesis of the content of the materials of the publications of scientists devoted to ecological management and environmental economics and of the materials of the websites of the different international organizations working in the same sphere. The system approach has been also used for the preparation of systematised list of the types of the international ecologically oriented decisions and the components of statistical and analytical support of them. Results. Ecological management is the systematic approach to the management of the environmental aspects of the activities with the purpose to minimize the negative influence on the environment. The main functions of it are the following: environmental planning; implementation and operation; checking and corrective action; management review and analysis. Ecological management has achieved the international level now and become the type of anti-crisis management using for solving the global ecological problems. It realizes through the process of ecologically oriented decision making. Ecologically oriented decisions can be determined as the decisions about some changes in economic activity directed to the improvement of its natural resources support or reduce of its negative influence on the environment. The system of international subjects for ecologically oriented decision making contains many international organisations and other authorities. The process of international ecologically oriented decision making includes different forms of international subject interaction. And the result of all this work is the different types of international documents, from international declarations and conventions to international ecological programs and projects. Conclusions. Relevant, reliable and timely statistical data are quite necessary for ecologically oriented decision making on the international level. Statistical and analytical support of the international ecologically oriented decision making includes five interrelated components: data collection, data keeping, data compilation and analysis, data dissemination, statistical and analytical capacity development. The countries participating in the data collection on the international level must have the access to the generalized data to improve their ecological policy and receive better results іn ecological management.</jats:p>
