The relevance of the study is due to the need to prepare students for life in a digital environment that is filled with contradictory information. The aim of the work is to identify and theoretically substantiate a set of pedagogical conditions that ensure the development of critical thinking components through the integration of digital educational technologies, which allows not only to form students’ abilities to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information, but also to transform traditional approaches to learning into more active, reflective, and independent cognitive activities. Based on an analysis of a wide range of philosophical and psychological-pedagogical sources, a set of pedagogical conditions for developing critical thinking in high school students was described: the creation of a problem-oriented educational environment.
