Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph represents a significant historical and philosophical material for a more in-depth study of such an interesting topic as the ancient cosmological philosophy, which is one of the main sources of the formation of classical and modern philosophical, cultural and scientific systems of the East and West. The book is the result of the special courses read at the Chair of the History of Foreign Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy at Lomonosov Moscow State University; it is also the result of many years of lectures and seminars with students of philosophical, philological, journalism and physics faculties. The educational material of this study is structured in chronological order required by the Program on Ancient Philosophy for Universities of Russia. The book is intended for students, graduate students and all those interested in the history of ancient philosophy, culture and science.</jats:p>
