Abstract
<jats:p>This publication is dedicated to the Czech universal genius (inventor, mathematician, athlete, criminologist, poet, writer, composer, philosopher, etc.) Jára Cimrman, who won the national vote for the title of “The Greatest Czech” in 2005. In 2010, Jára Cimrman was included in the list of the “Seven Wonders of Bohemia” as a result of a nationwide survey and topped this list despite the fact that he is a fictional person. Until recently the Jára Cimrman Theater in Prague, founded in 1966, played exclusively of plays dedicated to the life and work of this fictional hero. The publication is intended for students of philological faculties and faculties of foreign languages, as well as for everyone who wants to get acquainted with Czech culture.</jats:p>
