Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to the analysis and management of risks of the Russian university. It is noted that the university is a potentially dangerous object, as more than 5 thousand people can be there simultaneously. Under modern conditions there can appear increasing threat of terrorist activity in the University. The author consistently considers the basic risks of the university, analyzes the Western experience of university risk management, substantiates the strategy of university risk management in the Russian Federation, the principles and priorities in the strategy of university risk management. Particular attention is paid to the justification of acceptable risk and the precautionary principle in the risk management strategy of the university. Individual risks are analyzed in detail, such as fire risk, radiation risks, electromagnetic radiation risks, chloroform poisoning risks, vaping risks, and exhaust gas risks. Speculative risks that determine the competitiveness, prestige and investment attractiveness of the university are considered separately. Methods of university risk management are proposed. The book is intended for specialists in the field of risk management, environmental safety, environmental protection and students studying and specializing in these areas.</jats:p>
