Abstract

The “Dictionary of Dostoevsky’s Language. Idioglossary” (Vol. VI, letters T-Ya) is an extension of the previously published five volumes of the “Idioglossary” (2008-2021). The basic conceptual principles laid down in the sixth volume remained the same: the description of not all the words found in the texts of Fyodor M. Dostoevsky, but only those that characterize the author's idiostyle, idioglossas; the use as illustrative material of the examples from the texts of different genres and from different periods of the writer's work; in a special way structured dictionary entries reflecting the main features of the language personality of Fyodor M. Dostoevsky; the extended representation of the functioning of the described idioglossas through the multi-parameter linguistic commentary et al. The vocabulary of the “Dictionary of Dostoevsky’s Language. Idioglossary” (Vol. VI, letters T-Ya) includes 232 units (idioglossas). The issuance of the publication is timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the birth of Yuri Nikolay evitch Karaulov.
