Abstract
<jats:p>This educational and methodical guide contains tasks designed for completion in a computer lab during seminar sessions for the "Computer Practicum" course (supporting the "Operating Systems" main basic course) for full-time bachelor students majoring in "Fundamental Informatics and Information Technologies" (specialty code - 02.03.02). The guide provides instructions for solving some tasks and includes methodical recommendations. The collection has been compiled based on the teaching experience at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The guide is intended for use by students during practical classes in a computer lab and may also be useful for lecturers and graduate students conducting C programming in the UNIX environment classes.</jats:p>
