<jats:p>The present textbook is based on the popular manual Joan & Liz Soars. Headway. Oxford University Press and contains exercises which include vocabulary of three parts of the manual (Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate, Advanced), in particular, translation of phrasal verbs, idioms, compound words and lexical collocations which represent a special difficulty for learners of English. The present textbook is intended for university students.</jats:p>
