Abstract
<jats:p>The manual is intended for foreign students of the first and second certification levels (B1, B2). The purpose of the manual is to bring them into oral and written communication based on biographical texts about A.S. Pushkin and his poetic works. The manual includes a large text about A.S. Pushkin, which provides information about his life and work. An extensive illustrated commentary of a cultural nature is given before the text, pre-text and post-text exercises activate the lexical and grammatical material. In addition to the main text and tasks for it, the manual includes an additional text about the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum with illustrated cultural commentary, poems by the poet, some of them with the possibility of listening, phonetic exercises, exercises teaching linguistic and literary analysis of poetic texts.</jats:p>
