THE HISTORICAL ORIGINS OF KARAKALPAK POEMS AND ARTISTIC QUEST IN ITS DEVELOPMENT

<jats:p>The article argues that the formation of poems in Karakalpak literature is associated with a dastan from oral folk art. The work notes that the poem and dastanare not the same concepts, the poem and dastan in Karakalpak literature differ from each other by their specific features. The article analyzes that since the second half of the 20th century, as the method of lyrical description deepens in the internal structure of Karakalpak poems, the genre of the poem finds its way to development</jats:p>
