<jats:p>Due to the increase in the number of invasive methods of treatment and monitoring in neurotrauma, there has been a rise in neuroinfections. The second part of the review is devoted to the assessment of factors influencing the concentration of antibiotic in the cerebrospinal fluid. Cases of intraventricular and intrathecal administration of antibiotics are described.</jats:p>
