Abstract
Events often reflect local culture, tradition and art, and offer the opportunity to enjoy an authentic experience. In this sense, they become a mirror of society, but also an instrument of its transformation. However, in order for an event to achieve its full potential and bring long-term benefits, it is necessary that its organization be systematic, thoughtful and focused on clearly defined goals. It is in this context that the need for professional and strategic event management arises, which represents a framework for efficient planning, organization, execution and evaluation of events. The application of the EMBOK model in event management brings several key advantages, primarily related to the introduction of a clear structure into the complex and multi-layered process of organizing events.
