Abstract
<jats:p>The publication: Spatial Planning Law. Commentary on Controversial Provisions presents an in-depth analysis of key issues in Polish spatial planning law, with particular emphasis on provisions that have posed interpretative challenges following the 2023 reform. The study focuses on three fundamental instruments: the municipal master plan, the local spatial development plan, and the integrated investment plan. By combining doctrinal perspectives with practical experience, the authors provide a detailed exegesis of selected statutory regulations, identifying areas requiring further legislative amendment or a more consistent interpretation. Special attention is devoted to the relationship between local legal acts and administrative decisions, as well as to the role of the new institutions in ensuring the coherence of the planning system and in safeguarding spatial order and sustainable development. The commentary thus serves not only as an interpretative tool but also as a starting point for an interdisciplinary debate on the future of spatial planning law in Poland.</jats:p>
