Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook is addressed to applicants of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education in the specialty A 4 "Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature)" and is aimed at ensuring high-quality organization and methodological support of pedagogical practice in the Ukrainian language and literature in basic secondary education institutions (grades 5–9). The publication contains theoretical guidelines, regulatory and organizational materials regarding the stages of practice, the functions and responsibilities of its participants, as well as requirements for documentary support and final assessment. Considerable attention is paid to the methodology of preparing and conducting lessons of the Ukrainian language and literature during practice, formative assessment, the use of digital tools, the organization of extracurricular and educational work. The manual is supplemented with reflective questions, sample documentation and recommendations that contribute to the conscious professional development of a future teacher of the Ukrainian language and literature. The manual can be useful for students, teacher-mentors and methodologists involved in the organization and support of pedagogical practice.</jats:p>
