Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook "Methodology of Teaching English" is designed to deepen and enrich the professional training of future teachers of foreign languages, contains theoretical and practical material on the methodology of teaching a foreign (English) language in secondary education institutions. The content of the textbook corresponds to the modular content of the work program of the discipline "Methodology of Teaching English". The proposed topics and a block of practice-oriented tasks ensure that students master the methodology and technology of teaching students in English, and have a positive impact on the development of their methodological, didactic, and foreign language competencies. The publication represents theoretical information for students to learn, questions for self-control for practical practice of acquired knowledge. Lecture material, a block of practical tasks, tests for checking acquired knowledge are supplemented by a glossary that reveals the categorical interpretation of key concepts.</jats:p>
