Abstract
<jats:p>Today, when values, moral standards, and worldviews undergo are changing in the contemporary individuals’ consciousness, the “psychological health” among youth, linked to the phenomenon of “self-esteem”, holds par-ticular significance. The adequacy of the last correlates with the level of personal requirements, well-being, and success. It is noted that at a higher education institution, the first and second-year students’ self-esteem is sub-ject to dynamic changes, where an effective pedagogical support influences essentially on this, by means of pedagogical methods and technologies used in the educational-bringing-up process. The article analyzes the effectiveness of pedagogical technologies aimed at students’ adequate self-esteem developing and their situa-tional anxiety reducing, such as interactive methods related to the collective working forms organizing, to the increasing students’ motivation for learning and self-realization, and to the creating the personal success moti-vation in whole. These methods allow students to “see” themselves through others’ eyes, design their personal development trajectories, and learn to constructively build social interactions.</jats:p>
