Abstract

In the context of global challenges and the transformation of the Russian higher education system, corporate culture has become the main intangible asset of the university, capable of consolidating the academic com-munity in order to achieve common strategic goals. To form an effective corporate culture, it is crucial to study the value and motivational foundations of the organization’s employees. Unlike commercial organizations, the culture of a university is based on fundamental academic values such as freedom of scientific research, au-tonomy, and service to knowledge and society. If administrative norms and management practices conflict with these underlying motivators of academic staff and administrative personnel, it can lead to a value dissonance, resulting in decreased engagement, increased staff turnover, and imitation of activities. This article presents the results of a study of the value and motivational foundations of the corporate culture of the faculty of social sci-ences at Amur State University.
