Abstract
<jats:p>In the context of modern socio-cultural transformations caused by globalization processes, the role of cultural practices focused on preserving, popularizing, and broadcasting cultural imperatives related to traditional na-tional cultural values is increasing. This applies equally to traditional culture and academic art. This issue is monitored by the executive authorities and is part of the regional cultural policy agenda. The implementation of the goals and objectives of the State Program “Development of Culture in the Republic of Dagestan” is ensured by the implementation of subprograms related to the development of education in the field of culture and the development of the field of culture and art in the republic. The article uses a comprehensive cultural studies approach that summarizes the methodology of various research fields, including an analysis of philosophical, cultural studies, and other scientific literature on the research problem, as well as comparative and structural methods. An analysis of cultural practices has shown that project activities aimed at implementing the state program form a value-based attitude towards secular culture, broaden the public’s horizons and aesthetic taste, and shape national and civic identity. In general, they are essential for the successful development of intercul-tural dialogue in the region.</jats:p>
