Abstract

<jats:p>This study focuses on the final novel written by the author D. Batozhabay, “Mountain Eagles”, which narrates the events of the Civil War and the Revolution in the Baikal area. The historical novel, grounded in authentic historical occurrences, holds significance as a complementary resource for biographical inquiry. During the study, the work was analyzed, additional material was collected, and the intersection of the destinies of M. Erbanov and his wife S. Erbanova, P. Danchinov and his daughter M. Danchinova, writer D. Batozhabay, his widow L. Batozhabay, and poetess and biographer of the Batozhabay spouses G. Radnaeva was revealed. Their continuity in significant productive social and professional activities is also emphasized, and the signifi-cance of the writer’s legacy in modern times is noted.</jats:p>
