Abstract

<jats:p>The book examines the theory and practice of translation in Eastern and Western literature of the Middle Ages and the Contemporary period. The authors touch upon two general circles of problems related to the study of the dynamics of intercultural relations, which are realized at the level of development and assimilation of foreign literary traditions, and to a discussion of issues that arise when analyzing the types and methods of interpreting foreign literary material and using it to create a new text.</jats:p>
