Abstract

<jats:p>Hepatobiliary diseases encompass a wide range of conditions affecting the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts, with significant clinical implications. This chapter explores the biochemical and physiological aspects of the hepatobiliary system, providing insights into the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of common disorders such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, and biliary obstruction.
