Psychological Training Of Undercover Operatives: A Comparative Analysis Of Western Intelligence Models And Legal Approaches (<span>Психологічна підготовка оперативників до роботи під прикриттям: компаративний аналіз моделей західних спецслужб і правових підходів</span><span>)</span>

<jats:p>&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;E&lt;/b&gt;&lt;b&gt;nglish Abstract&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span&gt;: The&amp;nbsp;purpose&amp;nbsp;of the study&amp;nbsp;is to provide a scientific rationale for the content, structure, and conditions of effective psychological training for law enforcement personnel tasked with undercover operations, taking into account the legal foundations of such activities in democratic states. The&amp;nbsp;methodology&amp;nbsp;of the study includes a critical review of academic literature, analysis of professional reports from security services and legal documents, as well as expert-analytical synthesis aimed at identifying practices suitable for national adaptation. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Research outlines the structure of psychological training used in countries with advanced undercover systems (particularly the USA, Canada, and the UK) was outlined. The main risks to mental health were identified, and the need for selection, supervision, psychological support, and post-operational reintegration was substantiated. The study highlights the psycho-emotional mechanisms that ensure resilience to prolonged stress and the role of ethical reflection in preventing professional deformation, and emphasizes the need for regulatory regulation of psychological support as an element of institutional protection for special service personnel.&amp;nbsp;The practical value of the study lies in the development of a tentative model for the training system of undercover operatives tailored to Ukraine’s needs, with consideration of international standards, current legislation, regulatory constraints, and psychological challenges. The conclusions emphasize the importance of interagency and interdisciplinary cooperation for creating an effective, adaptive, and ethically grounded training program that meets both security realities and the state’s legal obligations in the field of human rights and personnel protection.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;Ukrainian Abstract&lt;/b&gt;: Мета дослідження – наукове обґрунтування змісту, структури та&amp;nbsp;умов ефективної психологічної підготовки співробітників правоохоронних органів до виконання завдань у режимі&amp;nbsp;оперативного прикриття, з урахуванням правових засад такої діяльності у демократичних державах. Дослідженням окреслено структуру психологічної підготовки, яка застосовується в країнах&amp;nbsp;із розвиненою системою операцій під прикриттям (зокрема США, Канада, Велика Британія), виявлено основні ризики&amp;nbsp;для психічного здоров’я оперативників, обґрунтовано потребу в психологічному відборі, супервізії, підтримці й постопераційній реінтеграції. Практична цінність дослідження полягає у формулюванні орієнтовної моделі системи підготовки оперативників для потреб України з урахуванням міжнародних стандартів, чинного законодавства, нормативних бар’єрів та&amp;nbsp;психологічних викликів. У висновках підкреслено важливість міжвідомчої та міждисциплінарної співпраці задля створення ефективної, адаптивної та етично обґрунтованої програми підготовки, що відповідатиме як безпековим реаліям, так і правовим зобов’язанням держави у сфері захисту прав людини та службовців.&lt;/p&gt;</jats:p>
