ТЕНДЕНЦІЇ РОЗВИТКУ СВІТОВОГО ЕКСТРЕМАЛЬНОГО ТУРИЗМУ: ПРОБЛЕМИ ТА ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ (Trends In The Development of World Extreme Tourism: Problems and Prospects)

<jats:p>&lt;b&gt;Ukrainian Abstract:&lt;/b&gt;  &lt;br&gt;Стаття присвячена актуальним питанням розвитку світового екстремального туризму, його значенню, важливості в сучасному розвитку світового туризму. Проаналізовано географію поширення світового екстре-мального туризму. Зазначено, що популярність світового екстремального туризму за останні роки виросла в геометричній прогресії, оскільки туристи прагнуть гострих відчуттів і для цього відвідують раніше незвідані місця. Увагу також приділено природним ресурсам та умовам, які є основою для розвитку екстремальних видів туризму. Зроблена спроба сформувати та систематизувати критерії екстремальності природних умов та ресурсів. Зазначено, що в сучасному світі саме екстремальний туризм може розвиватися при наявності певних специфічних умов. Це дозволяє країнам, які мають природні умови для розвитку екстремального ту-ризму розвивати нові напрямки і позиціонувати свої території як справді унікальні, привабливі для туристів, які шукають рідкісні, ні з чим не порівнянні враження. Відмічено, що країни, які раніше не могли конкурувати на світовому туристичному ринку, мають змогу, при створенні необхідних умов, які зроблять країну зручною для відвідування і привабливою, зайняти своє місце в сфері надання послуг екстремального туризму.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;English Abstract:&lt;/b&gt;  &lt;br&gt;The article is devoted to topical issues of development of world extreme tourism, its significance, importance in the modern development of world tourism. The geography of distribution of world extreme tourism is analyzed. It is noted that the popularity of global extreme tourism in recent years has grown exponentially, as tourists seek thrills and for this purpose visit previously unknown places. Attention is also paid to natural resources and conditions that are the basis for the development of extreme types of tourism. An attempt is made to form and systematize the criteria of extremity of natural conditions and resources. It is noted that in the modern world it is extreme tourism that can develop in the presence of certain specific conditions. This allows countries that have natural conditions for the development of extreme tourism to develop new destinations and position their territories as truly unique, attractive to tourists looking for rare, incomparable experiences. It is noted that countries that previously could not compete in the global tourism market have the opportunity, while creating the necessary conditions that will make the country convenient to visit and attractive, to take its place in the provision of extreme tourism services. It is noted that the peculiarity of extreme tourism is the location of this tourism, for example, some mountainous areas or desert areas. In such areas, the tourist must feel the risk of the environment, extreme conditions, realize personal capabilities, strength of spirit, enriched with new experiences. Extremes of natural conditions can be manifested in any of the components of the natural environment, in terms of human health. Some extreme tours require some physical training of tourists, so the target audience for the consumption of such extreme tours can only be a limited number of people prepared for difficult travel. Through the active research of scientists in the world, new amazing objects of nature, history and culture are discovered every year, and due to the acceleration of information exchange, the number of regions open to visitors has sharply increased.</jats:p>
