<jats:p>&lt;b&gt;Ukrainian Abstract:&lt;/b&gt; У статті досліджується механізм припинення зобов’язання на підставі передання відступного, аналізуються природа передання відступного й умови його застосування, особливості відступного як правоприпиняючого юридичного факту в зобов’язальній сфері цивільного права. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;English Abstract:&lt;/b&gt;The article is devoted to research of mechanism of discontinuance of obligation on the basis of assignation of indemnity. The nature of assignation of indemnity and conditions of its application are analised in the article. The features of indemnity as a right-depriving jural fact in the obligation sphere of civil law are explored, in particular the moment of discontinuance of obligation by indemnity, its forms and order of legalization.</jats:p>
